Since 1994, AmeriCorps has engaged people from across all walks of life in intensive community service to get things done for the people in our communities. More than 12,000 Connecticut residents have served more than 17 million hours and have qualified for Segal AmeriCorps Education Awards totaling more than $38,980,000.
AmeriCorps Alums Connecticut is a community for AmeriCorps service members past and present to connect to opportunities to volunteer, advocate for national service, develop both personally and professionally, and "keep getting things done" for the people of Connecticut.
Established in 2013, InterCorps Council of Connecticut is a group of currently-serving AmeriCorps members who come from across the state with the goal of building a stronger national service community to make current members' years more impactful and meaningful.
